Sunday Morning Bible Class

In our efforts to move more toward “normal” church ministry I am beginning again Sunday morning Bible Study for adults. (Our middle school and High School youth are welcome to attend this study as well) We will meet in the parish hall between services beginning May 2 at 9:45AM.

Our first week we will be spending time in Philippians 4:4-7. We’ll learn together how to have joy even in the most difficult times and how God wants us to live with confidence in His care for us.

Week two we will journey toward Romans 8:28-37. We will learn how God takes the Christian from timidity to boldness and how inseparably his love surrounds us against all enemies.

Week three we will turn to Paul’s First Letter to the Corinthians, chapter 15:12-25 and discover the meaning of the resurrection for us.  Without it we would be eternally lost in hopelessness.

Week four we make our way to the Old Testament for Psalm 103:1-13. The glorious favor of the Lord upon His children will be studied in this lesson. How God gives all good gifts to His children and how we are to live in thankfulness and praise.

Week five we will return to the New Testament to The Book of Colossians 3:12-17. Here we will look at How God wants us to live with one another putting on the new person in Christ and how love is the key to linking all the attributes of God to our life together.
