2011 ADVENT AND CHRISTMAS WORSHIP SCHEDULE

Our 2011 mid-week Advent Vespers services will commence on Wednesday, November 27 at 7 PM. This season we will use Holden Evening Prayer, a setting by liturgical composer Marty Haugen. Our theme for Advent Vespers this year is based on Savior of the Nations Come, the famous Advent hymn by Saint Ambrose of Milan. Martin Luther translated Ambrose's work from Latin into German. Luther's translation is the basis for the English versions found in the hymnals of numerous church bodies.
