CHRISTIAN HUMOR ARCHIVE
![]()
Laughter is one of God's many gifts. Scripture teaches in Proverbs 17:22 that "a cheerful heart is good medicine," and again in Ecclesiastes 3:4 that there is a time for everything, including "a time to laugh." Lutherans have a robust sense of humor (some might say a "bizarre" sense of humor), and we at Saint Paul's certainly appreciate the value of a good joke. This archive contains jokes, puns, stories, and other funnies that we've found in various places. Most of them fall under the broad category of good-natured "religious" humor, although some are completely non-religious. We think they're all good for a few laughs. And after you're done chuckling, you might find that you've actually learned a spiritual truth or two. Wouldn't that be funny?
