DAILY DEVOTIONS

The Bible, God's wonderful gift to the church, is the only sure and certain source for knowing Jesus Christ and what He has done for our sinful world.  That's why we at Saint Paul's believe it's so important to study the Scriptures every day.  Did you know that you can spend time in God's Word on the Internet?  This page will link you to a number of excellent online Lutheran devotions.  We pray that the Holy Spirit will use these tools to strengthen your faith in our Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ.

Along with your regular devotions, be sure to set aside time each day for prayer.  If you need help getting into the habit, try starting with Martin Luther's morning and evening prayers.

Portals of Prayer, the staple daily devotion of LCMS Lutherans for decades, is published by Concordia Publishing House.  You can also listen to Portals of Prayer using Windows Media Player.

A Year in the Word is a collection of devotions published by Concordia Publishing House.  An electronic version is available each day on the LCMS home page.

Today's Thought, a devotion you can also receive each day by e-mail, is published by Lutheran Hour Ministries.

Memorial Moments is a regular devotion by Rev. Dr. Scott Murray, Senior Pastor of Memorial Lutheran Church in Houston, TX.

By The Way, a brief inspirational message, is a regular feature on AM 850 KFUO.  This is an audio devotion that requires Windows Media Player.
